Your Training, Her Future
As a child, I spent a lot of time in India. A deep memory is being stuck in traffic and seeing little girls, my age or younger than me, running in between cars, tapping on windows, desperately asking for money or food, calling me didi, which means ‘elder sister’.
I always thought of those little girls, and wondered about the lives they lived. Through our yoga alliance accredited trainings, I want to help them, just like a didi would.
1 in 4 girls in India drops out of school before reaching puberty, often due to poverty, early marriage, or lack of access to resources.
At the heart of our yoga teacher training is a deep commitment to uplift, empower and honour where this wisdom comes from.
That’s why we’ve partnered with a charity supporting girls’ education in India, the very land that gave us yoga.
When education is out of reach, so is freedom. A girl who can’t access school may grow into a woman with limited choices, trapped by poverty and societal expectation. But when she learns, everything changes, for her, her family, and generations to come.
We care deeply about breaking these cycles. For every training you complete, we fund an entire year of schooling for an underprivileged girl in India.
Your education is hers.
We’re incredibly proud of this initiative, and we can’t wait to share how many lives we collectively impact.

"This training has transformed and elevated my approach to teaching. It was incredibly inspiring for me as a yoga teacher who wants to share the deeper layers of yoga beyond just the physical practice. It also gave me the confidence to slow down and give more space in my classes to elements like pranayama, dhyana, and mantra. Before this training, I tried to include these aspects, but I often felt like most students were mainly there for the asana. The YTT helped me feel more confident and at ease with integrating these practices more intentionally. As a result of this, I have improved my approach to respecting yoga's roots in my classes, because I now do it with more confidence. It also deepened my understanding of yogic philosophy."

"I've learnt so much wisdom, so much about listening to your inner voice, not being afraid of being different and being compassionate to yourself - and it's those learnings that I feel like I want to share. The seva, at least to me, feels like the driving force/reason for me to want to continue practising and learning more about yoga (and maybe even to become a yoga teacher!) This training is helping me be a better person, and because of that, I feel like I could share that wisdom through the way I navigate relationships, through creative expressions, which is carrying that knowledge in a different way, but in a way others night understand."

"While I’ve always explored philosophy on my own, having Angie’s guidance made a huge difference. For example, being able to ask questions in live calls gave so much clarity. One of the most powerful parts of the training was the self-reflection we did, which was also putting the philosophy in action. It really helped me implement the teachings into my classes and personal life. One moment that stood out was when we reflected on which klesha affects us most. I realised that for me, it might be avidya (ignorance), and that insight opened up space to explore how I could begin moving away from it in a practical way. "

"This training has been a transformational experience, personally and professionally. It’s helped me grow as a yogi and share yoga with my students in a deeper, more meaningful and respectful way. I highly recommend this training to anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of yogic philosophy, regardless of whether you are a teacher or not. "

"I feel inspired by the way Angie teaches and also empowered to change my lifestyle too. She's helped me come back to my own culture, and to a sense of what I envision for a future, and for that, I'll always be grateful!"

"As someone who is not a teacher, but practices yoga, doing the teaching has opened my eyes up to how much wisdom yoga holds, and has given words to a lot of the feelings that I've had when practising yoga which I didn't quite understand. Having done the training, and learnt about Gyaan yoga, the Pancha Koshas and Kleshas, Karuna, and why Sadhana is so important, it's almost given me this foundation to now carry the rest of my yoga practice on, and filled up this emptiness which I didn't realise I was carrying."
