What’s the intention?

I am over the moon to announce my ‘Yoga & Ayurveda Day Retreat’ which shall be held on Saturday 21st May 2022 from 9am - 8pm for a day of peace, escaping your every day life, to indulge and immerse yourself in the ancient rituals of Yoga and Ayurveda. Allow yourself to tap into your inner world without distractions. The retreat is open to all levels, and you can choose to join in with as many or as few classes as you like. The venue is approx. 12 minutes on the train from London Bridge station.

  • UNWIND & RELAX

    • Take some time out to focus just on yourself. We can’t give ourselves fully to others if we are pouring from an empty cup. This is a chance to escape reality and get spiritual!

  • REVITALISE & BE PRESENT

    • Deepen your yoga practice, switch off from the world of technology and dive head first into exploring dhyana (meditation), pranayama (breath control), Ayurveda (the science of life), asana (postures) and so much more. In my teachings, I strive to decolonise the practice, taking it back to the roots, back to ancient India, back to the heart of it all and teach you the real yoga.

  • DETOX & RECONNECT

    • Connect with like minded souls, detoxify from the inside out, and feel the magic that happens when you are truly aligned. If you constantly have a foggy head, or struggle to sleep, your body is telling you to slow down. Allow this day to be that chance for you to do so. Put yourself first for once, and give yourself permission to feel balanced, rested, and recharged.

  • A deeper understanding of the roots of Yoga so you appreciate rather than appropriate

  • Chanting Club, Pranayama & Meditation Circles

  • Dynamic & strengthening asana flows, grounding & restorative asana flows & Yoga Nidra

  • Ayurvedic self care rituals for your everyday

  • Understand your dosha and the foundation of this sacred health system & Chakra Cleanse

  • Connection with like minded souls in an intimate setting

  • Delicious vegan Indian food and drinks* & goody bags!

Excludes:

  • Travel to the house

  • Extra food or drinks whilst out of the house

  • Yoga Mat or props

Schedule

9am-10am: Arrival at the house with teas / coffees / light breakfast

10-12pm: Meditation Circle to open, chanting club at the shrine, pranayama, dynamic and strengthening asana flow

12pm-2pm: Welcome lunch, nature walk, reading, connecting with others

2pm: Ayurvedic cooking class

3-4.30pm: Philosophy: chakra cleanse, decolonising Yoga, classical rituals and more

5-6pm: Grounding flow followed by Nidra

6.15-6.45pm: Closing Chanting Circle

7-8pm: Dinner

Delicious vegan Indian food and drinks will be included throughout the day catered by Get The London Cook

Investment & Payment Terms

Full day: £115 per person.

  • Payment terms:

    • 100% upfront to confirm your space

    • 50% upfront to confirm your space, remaining 50% to be paid by 21st March 2022

  • Please note that the non-refundable deposit is 30% of the full sum. Let me know if you aren’t able to make it and would like for someone else to have your space.

  • Please note, if cancellations are made within 4 weeks of the retreat, there will be no refund (including if a guest contracts covid)

  • Regarding Covid restrictions, if there is another lockdown and the government says retreats can’t go ahead, we will fully refund you.
