‘Best retreats In The U.K. & Ireland & Best For Beginners’ - The Times & Condé Nast Traveller
PRICES START AT £1,650
I cannot wait to welcome you to the south of Spain. A place to slow down, reset and soften as we explore Indian wellness rituals that have truly stood the test of time. This retreat is an invitation to deepen your understanding of yoga and ayurveda and to embody the practices both on and off the mat. Join me and the UNEARTHED community to learn, flow and detox while being held by peaceful nature, two pools, olive groves and deeply nourishing food. This is time to reconnect with yourself and with our community, in a way that feels grounded, spacious and real (with as much fun as the chat and giggles in the girls’ bathroom.)

THE YOGA
Angie is an experienced yoga teacher and educator placing importance on sharing all elements of yoga and her culture with you so you can respectfully apply the ancient rituals into your every day life and go deeper into your practice.
Morning classes are dynamic and energising (vinyasa/flow) and evening classes will be soft and slow (restorative/nidra/yin.) You’ll learn about Ayurveda, energetic balance, philosophy, breathwork, mantra chanting, transcendental meditation, visualisation, mudras and more.
Our retreats are open to all levels, and we have had complete beginners previously join us on retreat. If you have any concerns, please email Angie directly.
OUR RETREAT HOME
Our farmhouse in Southern Spain is surrounded by nature, from olive groves to mountains, fruit trees with 2 pools where you can take a dip and stargaze by night. With so much space, you can choose exactly how you want to be. Quiet corners for rest and reflection, or open communal areas for long chats, shared meals and deep connection. This is what retreat sangha feels like. Coming together without pressure, being held by community while still honouring your own need for space.
WHERE YOU SLEEP
The main house holds 6 spacious bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. A short, gentle walk of around 100 metres through palms and mature gardens leads you to the cortijos. 6 apartments lovingly restored from old farm buildings, blending rustic charm with comfort. Every bedroom here also has its own ensuite bathroom.
The cortijo apartments include kitchenettes with kettles, fridges and dining areas, offering independence when you want it. If you are staying in the main house, you are warmly invited to use the shared kitchen and dining space, to gather, eat and connect.
Your spot on retreat includes dinner on the first day, breakfast on the last day and 3 meals on every full day of retreat.

Almeria (25 minute drive)
Malaga (2 hours and 40 minutes drive)
You will be welcomed into our private retreat whatsapp group before arrival. This is a space to connect with fellow guests, share practical details and coordinate transport if your timings align. Travelling together often becomes the first thread of sangha, easing the journey and setting the tone for the retreat. Of course, you are equally welcome to make your own way to the villa if that feels more supportive for you.
MEET ANGIE TIWARI
your retreat host
Hosting retreats is something imposter syndrome held me back from doing for so long. It always felt a dream that was out of reach. But I bit the bullet in 2021 and began hosting retreats in my home in London and it’s safe to say I became obsessed.
Obsessed with the joy of sharing my heritage, culture and gorgeous practices that mean so much to me and have done so much for me. Obsessed with meeting all the wonderful humans who make up the UNEARTHED community. Obsessed with watching you unravel and melt into the ancient wisdom of yoga.
As a business owner, with 10 years experience working in the corporate world, a wife, and a mother, I love sharing how you can get consistent, find time for YOU and share life long, valuable tools.
I’m so proud that my retreats seem to bring the warmest people from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds, as inclusion and diversity is something I feel is so key. We are all worthy of wellness yet the wellness world often makes many of us feel that isn’t the case.
If you have any questions before booking, please don’t hesitate to email me: info@tiwariyoga.com
